Default my porting attempt adding bost ports to a dt 125

got realy bored and added a bost port to my dt 125 barrel up loading pictures now

a dremmel ive only done one side im having trobble making it smoth inside as the dremm cuters dont go in very far

Good effort there however thought I would point out to you; that you will have issues with the exhaust gases feeding back into the transfer ports due to the side of the piston.

There is a cut away on the side of the piston just above the G-pin and below the rings and the gases will travel past it.

That is why you can not fit TZR pistons in the 3MA TZR 250 as they have these type of exhaust sub ports.

That's a fantastic first up effort. If you get a 90 deg tool you can clean those up very nice.They appear to be the correct size and shape and the bridges with looks even. You have done a better job than most 'professionals' Don't worry about any short circuiting of gases etc etc blah blah blah as the benefits of the boost ports will massively outweight any of that.

The port windows will need to be chamfered be for installation though

i have got a 90 degree tool from dremle but it is to bid to fit into the barrel
